Hello Blog! Today I will be talking about hyperdocs, and explaining my journey into figuring out hyperdocs. Basically, a hyperdoc is a document that contains hyperlinks, pictures, and other instructions in order to act as an interactive learning tool for students. I really like that there is an aspect of exploring with hyperdocs, students can choose which interactive tools interest them most. I would personally utilize hyperdocs as a way to introduce a new topic to my students, to have them independently explore the topic.
In exploring hyperdocs, I wanted to find one that I could use in my major of Social Work. I was able to find a hyperdoc that details ways to support a student's social emotional development. The hyperdoc explains SEL development, the CASEL framework, potential bias, etc. There are hyperlinks that explain every aspect of social emotional development. I personally really liked the graphics and forms included in the hyperdoc. I think the forms are super helpful because the hyperdoc also explains how to effectively use the forms in order to get the most out of them. I will provide the link to the hyperdoc in case anyone reading may want to explore it! HYPERDOC
