On the national museum of natural history website they have a bunch of virtual tours, they have current exhibits and also past exhibits. . I did my virtual tour on the Sant Ocean Hall, , I love how easy the website is to navigate, so children can use it.
The Sant Ocean Hall virtual tour is perfect for students, educators, and ocean lovers who want to explore the marine world from the comfort of their homes. It’s an excellent resource for learning about the ocean’s role in sustaining life on Earth, as well as the urgent need for conservation efforts. The online format allows users to zoom in on exhibits, read detailed descriptions, and even access educational videos and expert interviews.
The Sant Ocean Hall is a fascinating exhibits at the National Museum of Natural History, designed to highlight the diverse world of the ocean. This exhibit spans 23,000 square feet and showcases over 600 marine specimens, models, and interactive displays. Whether you want to learn about coral reefs, deep-sea creatures, or marine conservation, the virtual tour offers an engaging and informative experience.
I think virtual tours should be teachers and parents should teach their students how to use because it is fun while learning. I wish I knew how to do a virtual tour when I was younger. I used to beg my mom to go to zoos aquariums, and museums. So this would have been such a good tool for me. When I become a teacher and parent I will definitely be incorporating this into my everyday life.
